Cooking instructions: Hob

To cook on the hob. Before cooking: Place 40g of oats in a saucepan. Add 200ml of cold milk, water or a mixture of both. During cooking: Bring to the boil and simmer, stirring continuously. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. Do not re-heat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only

700w 5 mins. 800w 4 1/2 mins. 900w 4 mins Microwave: Before cooking: Place 40g of oats in a large microwaveable bowl. Add 200ml of cold milk, water or a mixture of both. Do not cover. During cooking: Stir halfway through. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary.
